The recognition of Chile’s multicultural identity and the space of vindication that belongs to the Indigenous Peoples, led the School of Art of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Center for Intercultural and Indigenous Research, CIIR, to undertake a project in 2014 in which Art and Social Sciences combined their efforts to generate a place of creation and reflection on intercultural relations: an artistic exhibition of visual pieces that raise anthropological, sociological and historical reflections, which have as their main theme the failed recognition of Chile’s multicultural identity.
