Academic of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Villarrica. She has a Ph.D. in Didactics of Language and Literature and is also a poet. Her interest is focused on the knowledge of language and culture, especially Mapudungun (of which she is a native speaker), as an element of recovery and promotion of Mapuche culture in contemporary society.
